1
Assessment of the thickness of the sinus floor by x-ray imaging.
2
Use of a 1.5 drill in 800 RPM with irrigation till reaching the sinus floor.
3
Use a moderate vertical force with the same 1.5 drill in non-rotational mode to assess sinus floor hardness. If according to the x-ray and the feedback from the drill is of thin flexible wall, insert the SIMPLE by a rotational and vertical force simultaneously, if the feedback is of a hard sinus floor, keep going deeper with the same drill for having thinnest floor to facilitate SIMPLE insertion.

SINUS FLOOR ELEVATION

SURGICAL PROTOCOL.
-
The SIMPLE SYSTEM should be inserted using a handpiece or ratchet torque with no irrigation at speed that does not exceed 15 RPM.
-
The SIMPLE SYSTEM is designed to be used in soft bone and it is counterindication for use in dense bone conditions.
-
Moderate vertical pressure should be applied during SIMPLE SYSTEM insertion.
-
SIMPLE SYSTEM is designed to ensure minimal loss of existing bone. However, when used in non-soft bone, a wider twist drill diameter may be needed to facilitate SIMPLE SYSTEM insertion. Never use twist drills widener than 3mm in diameter.
